6 Questions Impacting Black Americans Biden Should Be Asked At Press Conference

Paris Dennard - March 25, 2021

Joe Biden has some explaining to do to Black Americans during his first White House press conference.

“The Biden White House thinks they can govern the way they campaigned which was avoiding being held accountable by the press and American people.  Biden may try to hide from the public eye, but he cannot hide from the devastating impact of his agenda. This press conference will be Black Americans only real opportunity to get answers on all the policies, actions and bills that are hurting the Black community since Biden took office.” – Paris Dennard, RNC National Spokesperson and Director of Black Media Affairs

Six questions Joe Biden should be asked by the White House Press Corps:

  1. Under your watch, the Black community experienced an increase in unemployment last month. Once the $1,400 checks run out, how will raising taxes on families, rising energy costs, open borders, support and resources for illegal immigrants, closed public schools, and more COVID restrictions help Black Americans create and build wealth?
  2. Given the well documented issue of Black Americans still not trusting the coronavirus vaccine, do you regret the major role you and your Vice President played in casting doubts on the  vaccine because it was created under the Trump Administration?
  3. Do you feel it is humane to force seniors on Medicare Part D to pay over $300 for insulin because your Administration put a freeze on a Trump Administration policy that would have reduced it to $35?
  4. Will you denounce Antifa and all BLM rioters that led to the looting, burning and destruction of Black owned-businesses, and the injury or deaths of Americans?
  5. Given what is happening in the nation right now regarding Cancel Culture of people for their past racial statements, why do you feel you have escaped being held accountable for your statements, like calling Black Americans predators while on the Senate floor, that have been perceived as bigoted towards Black Americans?
  6. Why have you and your Vice President publicly ignored the murders, shootings, and violence in urban cities like Chicago that have large Black populations?

Bottom line: Joe Biden is a seasoned politician who reads and says all the poll-tested emotional things to distract Black Americans from the reality of his horrible policies that will have a disastrous impact on the livelihoods of millions of Americans that needs leaders and plans that will empower and unite. Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and the Democrats in power are not showing that leadership. We need more access, accountability and direct answers from the Biden Administration. The White House press corps should hold him accountable and ask the questions Black Americans need answers to.
