Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith have clearly been in Washington for far too long. The senators have forgotten their Minnesota values in their attempts to please Democratic leaders like Chuck Schumer.
A new report highlights that more than a week after the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, Klobuchar and Smith joined their Democratic colleagues in refusing to meet with the president’s choice to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy.
Once again, Klobuchar and Smith have reminded voters that Chuck Schumer’s opinion will always come before the preference of Minnesotans.
“Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith must have left their Minnesota nice at home. Instead of meeting with Judge Brett Kavanaugh to assess his nomination based on the merit of his work, Klobuchar and Smith made their decision to obstruct the confirmation process weeks before the White House announced their candidate. This November, voters will have the opportunity to remind Klobuchar and Smith that Minnesota values come before the will of Chuck Schumer by bringing them home for good.” – RNC Spokesperson Preya Samsundar
