About a year ago today, Andrew Cuomo the “superstar” was born.
How it started:
How it’s going:
One of Cuomo’s biggest cheerleaders was Joe Biden. Biden sang Cuomo’s praises during the campaign, declaring: “Your governor in New York's done one hell of a job. I think he's the gold standard”
What was Biden declaring the “gold standard?” Anti-science nursing home orders that led to thousands of deaths, rewriting reports to hide the higher death toll, and a cover-up in the face of a federal investigation so the data would not be “used against” the Cuomo administration.
Although we now know the truth, the Biden administration has repeatedly refused to condemn Cuomo’s nursing home orders and cover-up.

During the campaign, Biden endorsed one of the worst coronavirus responses in the nation. Now he is not only refusing to own up to his mistake, but he has not called on other Democrats copying the Cuomo playbook, like Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, to release nursing home data.
As long as Biden refuses to condemn Cuomo’s cover-up, Cuomo’s Emmy is not only a symbol of the media’s failures, but also Biden’s.
