In addition to a 94.5% success rate for Moderna’s coronavirus vaccine, their vaccine could start being distributed right away: “Assuming we get an emergency use authorization, we'll be ready to ship through Warp Speed almost in hours. … So it could start being distributed instantly.”
According to news reports, “A key advantage of Moderna's vaccine is that it does not need ultra-cold storage like Pfizer's, making it easier to distribute.”
Moderna’s vaccine is another major success for President Trump’s Operation Warp Speed. Back in August, President Trump’s leadership resulted in an agreement between HHS, DoD, and Moderna to manufacture and deliver 100 million doses of the company’s COVID-19 vaccine candidate.
Bottom Line: Since Day 1 of President Trump’s administration, it’s been promises made, promises kept. And it’s never been more true than with how the Trump administration tackled the coronavirus. Even before Thanksgiving, there are TWO effective coronavirus vaccines according to early analysis.
