Any Regrets, Sleepin' Joe?

Michael Joyce - June 13, 2018

Another day, another reason why Hoosiers will reject Joe Donnelly’s failed ‘leadership’ in November. Today’s news comes in the form of record breaking small business optimism thanks to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, when in fact Joe Donnelly said "This law doesn’t deliver relief to hardworking Hoosier families who go to work in the dark and come home in the dark."

CNBC reports the highlights:

“The NFIB's small business optimism index rose 3 points to 107.8 in May, the second-highest level in the index's 45-year history.”

Wow.

“Within the index, expectations for business expansion and reports of positive earnings trends hit record highs.”

But wait, there’s more:

“Reports of compensation increases also hit their highest in the history of the index.”

Regretting your vote yet, Joe? Nobody knows. If you ask him about repealing the tax bill, all he’ll tell you is that he “has other work to do first.”

“Today marks yet another victory for Hoosier small business owners, no thanks to Sleepin’ Joe Donnelly. While the economy continues to boom, we are left to wonder if Senator Donnelly regrets his vote against more money in Hoosiers’ pockets?” –RNC Spokesperson Michael Joyce
