Bad News for Sinema: AZ Jobs Up & Unemployment Down

Renae Eze - August 8, 2018

It really is a shame that Congresswoman Sinema felt the need to side with her Washington cronies like Nancy Pelosi and join in on the “Armageddon” fearmongering over the historic Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Fortunately for Arizonans, the tax cuts passed and the state’s economy has been improving ever since.

ARIZONA'S ECONOMY HAS REACHED NEW HEIGHTS UNDER PRESIDENT TRUMP

Rep. Sinema Spoke Out Against The GOP Tax Cuts

Rep. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) Voted No On The Tax Cuts And Jobs Act . (H.R. 1, Roll Call Vote #699 : Passed 224-201: R 224-12; D 0-189, 12/20/17)

  • Sinema Called The GOP Tax Cuts "A Bad Deal For Arizona." "This bill is a bad deal for Arizona. It explodes the federal debt, likely raises taxes on many small businesses, and makes it harder for Arizona families to get ahead. I oppose this bill because it does not reflect the values and priorities of hardworking Arizonans." (Press Release, "Sinema Votes Against House Tax Bill," Rep. Kyrsten Sinema , 11/16/17)

Arizona Has Gained 98,200 Jobs Since President Trump Took Office. (Bureau Of Labor Statistics , Accessed 8/6/18)

Unemployment In Arizona Has Dropped Since President Trump Took Office

Given all of this good news, shouldn’t Congresswoman Sinema admit her fearmongering and partisan opposition to the tax cuts were wrong?
