Joe Biden is trying to rewrite history by falsely taking credit for Operation Warp Speed after he spread doubt about the vaccine for months during the campaign.

And we have the receipts:
- On July 28, Biden questioned whether a vaccine would be “real” and whether there would be a “consensus” that “this is a safe vaccine.”
- On August 6, Biden claimed “if and when the vaccine comes, it’s not likely to go through all the tests…and trials that are needed to be done.”
- On September 5, Kamala Harris cast doubt on the safety of the vaccines being developed, refusing to say she would take a vaccine that was approved before election day.

While Biden was sowing doubt, Republicans were delivering historic results, developing a vaccine in record time and enacting a historic distribution plan that was already on pace to meet Biden’s vaccination goal before he took office and accelerating. Instead of falsely claiming credit, Biden should give credit where credit is due and apologize for his months undermining confidence in the vaccine.
