The Biden administration is shamefully refusing to stand up to Democrat special interest groups and protect the interests of America’s children.
The science is clear: there is no scientific, economic, or public health rationale for keeping schools closed when they have invested in the proper safety precautions.
In Chicago, over $100 million has been invested in the exact precautions the CDC recommends to safely reopen schools. To name a few:
- Personal protective equipment
- Small, stable class “pods”
- Daily screenings, rapid testing, and contact tracing
- Hand sanitizer and soap
- Hospital-grade cleaning and disinfectant
- Ventilation and air purifiers
- Plexiglass dividers
And yet, the Biden administration still REFUSES to call on the Chicago Teachers Union to head back to school.

The Biden administration needs to do what’s right: listen to the science and finally call on the CTU to allow schools to open. To not do so would fail our communities and signal that the political power of a special interest group holds more weight in the Biden White House than a child’s future.
