THE OBAMA-BIDEN ADMINISTRATION PROMISED THE AMERICAN PEOPLE OBAMACARE WOULD LOWER PREMIUMS – INSTEAD, THEY SKYROCKETED

In 2008, Barack Obama repeatedly promised voters his healthcare plan would lower costs for American families by $2,500 by the end of his first term.

Obama broke his promise, and in fact, there were no cuts in premiums for the average family during Obama’s first term.

In 2013, President Obama pledged that Obamacare would allow Americans to have health insurance for "the cost of your cable bill.”

In reality, Obamacare “significantly increased premiums.”

Insurance premiums for Americans buying plans on the Obamacare exchanges more than doubled on average during Obama’s second term.

Some states saw premiums triple over that time frame, including Alaska and Arizona.

OBAMACARE RAISED TAXES ON THE MIDDLE CLASS, ANOTHER OBAMA-BIDEN BROKEN PROMISE

On the campaign trail, Obama promised there would be no tax increases, of any kind, on the middle-class, a promise he later reiterated in office.

President Obama wasted no time in breaking this promise, with many of the 20 tax hikes included in Obamacare falling on the middle class and lower-income Americans.

Obamacare’s middle class tax hikes included limiting the use of Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), reducing the chronic care tax deduction, and creating a health insurance tax.

Obamacare’s individual mandate was a tax hike primarily on poor Americans, with 58% of those paying it making under $50,000.

UNDER OBAMACARE, AMERICANS LOST THEIR DOCTORS, LOST THEIR PLANS, AND SAW LESS CHOICE IN INSURANCE

Obama earned “lie of the year” for falsely claiming that “if you like your health care plan, you can keep it” under Obamacare.

In 2013, more than 4.7 million Americans had their health plans cancelled.

            Obama promised “if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.”

As many as 214,000 doctors opted-out of Obamacare plans, and the Obama Administration’s website admitted this promise was a lie.

By Obama’s last year in office, “in many parts of the country” shoppers on the Obamacare exchanges were left with no choice and just one insurer to purchase from.

BIDEN WANTS TO DOUBLE DOWN ON OBAMACARE, INCLUDING ITS BROKEN PROMISES

On the campaign trail Biden told voters “if you have private insurance, you can keep it” and has even lied that no one lost their health insurance because of Obamacare.

Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber previously admitted that a “public option” like Biden’s would “crowd out” private insurance plans.

Kamala Harris said during the campaign she wants to “eliminate” private health insurance.

Biden wants to bring back Obamacare’s individual mandate, a tax that primarily hits poor Americans.

Biden wants to dramatically increase Obamacare subsidies, expanding them to those who make up to 400% of the poverty level.

BIDEN’S PLAN WOULD HURT HOSPITALS AND COVER ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

A Navigant study found that Biden’s health plan could threaten more than 1,000 rural hospitals across 46 states.

A public option would cut an estimated $800 billion from America’s hospitals.

Biden has pledged to establish government-run health insurance that “would be available to everyone,” including illegal immigrants who he has promised will be covered under his plan.
