Joe Biden’s war on American energy is already in full-swing, and unfortunately for American workers, he’s bringing in reinforcements.
Meet Biden’s lieutenants:

John Kerry, High-Flying Hypocrite: Biden’s special climate envoy will take the lead schmoozing with elites all around the world, because if you can’t go to fancy cocktail parties while undermining America’s energy independence, then what’s the point?
- Once dubbed the “wealthiest member of Congress,” Kerry understandably has a who-cares attitude when it comes to killing American jobs, saying it’s “what needs to be done” so workers can make “better choices.”
- But he also emits hundreds of metric tons of carbon with his private jet, claiming it’s the “only choice for somebody like me" (serious question: does he know commercial airlines exist? They even have first class if he wants!)
Michael Regan, The Red Tape Enforcer: Biden’s EPA nominee will be joining an administration that has already destroyed thousands of jobs, and will provide the regulatory might to kill millions more.
- Biden will turn to the EPA to implement his big-government mandates through “enforcement mechanisms” (read: red tape regulations that will destroy American jobs).
- That should be just fine with Regan, who has celebrated efforts to eliminate fossil fuels and was an outspoken opponent of North Carolina’s Mountain Valley Pipeline.
Brian Deese, Mr. Inevitable: They don’t sell a Thanos-style gauntlet for eliminating American energy jobs, but Biden’s National Economic Council director would make their destruction all but inevitable.
- Under Obama, Deese was a leading advocate for the job-destroying Paris Climate agreement. He later even touted reports that the agreement poses a “substantial threat to the oil and gas industry.”
- Astonishingly, he claimed “China is already contributing more than the US” on climate. Sounds like the perfect fit for Team Biden…to be hard on American workers and weak on China.
Biden loves to call himself “Middle Class Joe,” but it’s clear he couldn’t care less about forcing middle-class Americans out of work while his lieutenants enjoy the fruits of a taxpayer-funded paycheck.
