RNC Chairwoman: Democrats will go into 2020 with a big giant goose egg
HEMMER: Here is the piece you wrote online at foxnews.com: Enough is enough from Pelosi, Schumer— Dems must put people over politics. My sense is we're pretty much stuck in the mud after yesterday Ronna, what do you think?
CHAIRWOMAN MCDANIEL: Well, the democrats have been stuck in the mud since President Trump got elected. They've refused to work with him at any level. This is just a continuation. We got the mueller report: No collusion, no obstruction. Now they're saying, ‘let's go reinvestigate again because we don't like the outcome’. The president is right to say ‘Nancy Pelosi, you can't go in front of the camera and accuse me of a cover-up and then behind the scenes say let's work together’. It's one or the other, she has to work with this president because democrats will go into 2020 with a big giant goose egg. They have done nothing for their constituents and there are 30 democrats sitting in districts where President Trump won and they need to go home with deliverables as to what they've done for the people in their districts.
RNC Chairwoman: Voters know President Trump has delivered on the promises he made
HEMMER: You talked about bad faith efforts in the piece you write. You write about tired partisan battles. I'm just wondering, how the people in Michigan are reacting to this?
CHAIRWOMAN MCDANIEL: I think they're exhausted from the Democrats. They’ve seen it and now that Nancy Pelosi has taken the house, they see this lurch toward impeachment and seeing the radical lurch to the left and they recognize their wages are up, that manufacturing jobs have come back to Michigan. They know the president has delivered on the promises he’s made and that's something that people hold near and dear. They recognize when politicians go on the campaign trail and say things and then actually do them. That's what the president has done, Democrats haven't. So, we have two democrats in Michigan, Slotkin and Stevens, in districts where President Trump won, and they won't be able to go back to their constituents and say they did anything these two years that they've been in congress.
