RNC Chairwoman: The President Said It: Case Closed.

CHAIRWOMAN MCDANIEL:  There was nothing discussed about how the Obama administration failed horribly, miserably to deal with Russian meddling and their attempt to interfere in our election. Why didn't Mueller address that? I think that the president said it succinctly today which is: case closed. The case is closed. There's been no collusion, no obstruction. How can you obstruct a case when you allow your general counsel to testify, when you allow your chief of staff, when you don't exert executive privilege, when you give all this transparency, when there was no crime? It is just never ending, and the Democrats are going to continue to seize on this because they've never accepted the results of the election where the American people said, we want a change agent in Washington. President Trump is who we've elected, and day after day after day they have worked to obstruct and to take away the rights of the American people who duly elected president Donald J. Trump.

RNC Chairwoman: Democrats Are Consumed With Impeachment, Obstruction, Resistance

VARNEY: Nothing's going to get done on those very important issues because Congress is going to be consumed with the impeachment question, isn't it?

CHAIRWOMAN MCDANIEL: Well, the Democrats will be. The Democrats are consumed with impeachment, obstruction, resistance, how do we stop President Trump. So, they are going to go into the midterms with nothing to show for their time in office. They are going to have a giant goose egg. They are going to say, this is all we have accomplished, and the president can say wages are up, jobs are coming back, our military's stronger, we put good judges on the bench. He has a whole litany of things he can take to the American people as deliverables and the Democrats have nothing. I think that's going to be good for us in 2020.
