Clinton Acknowledges Her North Korea Strategy Has Failed

- September 9, 2016

Clinton Acknowledged We Need "A Rethinking Of The Strategy" On North Korea That Failed Under Her And Obama. REPORTER: "Secretary Clinton, we've had the same strategy with North Korea when you started with the Obama Administration strategic patience and gradually escalating sanctions. That's clearly failed. How would your plan differ from the one you n president Obama pursued for four years while you were in office and that he has pursued since?" CLINTON: "Amy, I think it's clear that the increasing threat posed by North Korea requires not only a rethinking of the strategy, but an urgent effort to convince the neighbors, most particularly China, that this is not just a U.S. issue." (Hillary Clinton, Remarks After Bipartisan Security Forum, New York City, 9/9/16)
