A new poll out from Morning Consult shows Connecticut Democrat Dan Malloy is the LEAST popular Governor in the country, with 72% of his constituents disapproving of his tenure in Hartford.
Too bad for Connecticut Democrat candidates vying for the Governor’s mansion, Malloy’s disapproval rating is dragging down their chances for Hartford’s top office. #Throwback to a poll released earlier this week showing 58% of residents said they’d prefer to vote for a Republican to lead the state.
If you’re wondering why his approval rating is so bad, here’s a reminder of how Connecticut stacks up nationally:
- CNBC ranked Connecticut as the state with the 4th worst infrastructure in the country.
- Forbes ranked Connecticut as 42nd out of 50 for states to do business in.
- CNBC ranked Connecticut as 33rd out of 50 states for business.
Dan is the man…to kill Democrat aspirations in Hartford.
“First, a poll was released showing the majority of the people of Connecticut want a Republican in Hartford’s top office. Now, with a struggling economy and crumbling infrastructure, Democrat Dan Malloy is the least popular Governor in the country. As Connecticut continues to reject Democrat Dan Malloy’s failed leadership, Republicans are ready to lead with a new vision for Hartford.” —RNC Spokesperson Ellie Hockenbury
