This weekend, Democrats revealed the truly warped political priorities of their far-left $1.9 trillion wish list.
In the process of ramming through their hyper-partisan bill, every Senate Democrat blocked an amendment to keep prisoners from receiving stimulus checks.
All told, that means there’s about $2 billion worth of checks being sent to 1.4 million criminals in the Democrats’ bill. And yet, in their so-called “relief” bill, only $6 billion will be spent this fiscal year to reopen schools for America’s 50.7 million public school students. What’s worse, the Democrats’ bill won’t even require schools to reopen even though the science says they safely can.
When you break down the numbers, you really see their distorted priorities:
To pass their wish list, Democrats rejected bipartisanship, meaningfully targeted legislation, and common sense lessons from past relief bills. For Democrats, it’s special interests over schools, and prisoners over students.
