RE: DNC’s (In)Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Actions speak louder words. Or in the DNC’s case, inaction speaks louder than words.

Last week, the campaign of Democrat Governor Pat Quinn of Illinois, President Obama’s home state, took to Twitter to promote an article calling black Republicans race traitors and equivalent to Jewish Nazis.

As this racist, anti-Semitic act garnered attention, the Democratic National Committee said nothing. The leader of the DNC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, also a prominent Jewish leader in America, said nothing.

When Democratic gubernatorial candidate Nan Rich, the former Florida state Senate Minority Leader, appealed to the Broward Democratic Executive Committee to support her desire to debate ex-Governor Charlie Crist, Wasserman Schultz said nothing.

She said nothing to support another long-serving Democrat woman.

She said nothing to support a fellow Broward woman.

She said nothing to give the woman candidate an equal chance to make her case.

Instead, she sided with the ex-governor whom she’s even criticized in the past.

The DNC goes to great lengths to criticize and lecture others about the way they should behave on issues of racism and sexism. They talk a good talk—except when it comes to criticizing one of their own. If a Democrat marginalizes women or minorities, they show zero concern.

Inaction speaks louder than words when it comes to revealing what Debbie Wasserman Shultz and the DNC really care about. They only care about scoring political points.
