Donnelly’s Kavanaugh Meeting Should Be About More than Grandstanding

Senator Donnelly is meeting Judge Kavanaugh today, and it will be interesting to see if he listens to Chuck Schumer’s demands to obstruct Kavanaugh’s confirmation, or listens to the Hoosiers he represents by voicing his support. While Donnelly promised to take the same approach to Judge Kavanaugh as he did with Neil Gorsuch, it wasn’t until after Mike Braun publicly called out Donnelly for refusing to meet with Judge Kavanaugh that he decided to setup the meeting. Will Donnelly be genuine about meeting with Judge Kavanaugh today, or is this nothing more than a dog and pony show? Stay tuned – we’ll know shortly.
