With Democrats like Jeanne Sheehan, Kay Hagan and Alison Lundergan Grimes ashamed of their own records, Democrat operatives are now telling their candidates that the only strategy they have left is to either run from reporters or evade their questions.
As the New Hampshire Journal reports that following her unsuccessfully attempt to confirm Debo Adegbile – who was strongly opposed by the Fraternal Order of Police for crossing the line when he defended a cop killer – as assistant attorney general, Democrat Jeanne Shaheen was caught fleeing from a group of reporters.
- “New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen fled the scene of the vote Wednesday – following her decision to support President Obama’s controversial nominee for U.S. Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights. Debo Adgebile represented Mumia Abu-Jamal – who was convicted of murdering a Philadelphia cop in 1982. In 2011, during which time Adgebile aided his appeal efforts, a death sentence was dropped to life without parole. … Seven Democrats defected to join Republicans in halting his nomination, voting 52-47 against. Shaheen, who’s up for re-election this year, wasn’t one of them. Of course, that didn’t mean she was going to take the time to talk to anyone about it. “I think he’s well-qualified,” Shaheen quipped before dashing into an elevator and away from reporters.” (“Shaheen Dodges Reporters After Controversial Vote,” New Hampshire Journal, 3/6/14)
While last week after filing for re-election, Senator Kay Hagan was caught running from her own press conference because she didn’t want to talk about her support for ObamaCare (h/t America Rising).
Finally, down in Kentucky liberal Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes was recently on Morning Joe where she refused to give a straight answer on if she’ll campaign with President Barack Obama.
Given that the Democrat Party is now teaching their candidates on how to run from reporters, it just shows you how bad things are for the Democrats.
