Joe Biden’s White House was warned about a border crisis, but ignored the warnings and doubled down.
This according to border-state Democrat Rep. Henry Cuellar: “And in fact, I think it was within a week of the inauguration, I had called my White House contact and I said, ‘I want you all to look at what's happening on the ground. I'm talking to the men and women on the ground, I'm talking to NGOs, the numbers are increasing. You have to pay attention to this. And I tried several times. And here we are.”

The result of Biden ignoring these warnings? A border crisis of historic levels.
And yet weeks into this crisis, and after laughing it off, the best Kamala Harris can offer is a vague assurance that either she or Biden will visit the border “at some point,” with no commitment to change their disastrous policies that created the crisis in the first place.

“At some point” is not good enough. Border communities need action now. The Biden administration was warned, they doubled down, and now we have one of the worst border crises in modern American history, and it’s all of Biden’s making.
