House Dems' latest star: "I'm clearly not a fact witness."

Steve Guest - June 10, 2019

House Democrats are going to new lengths to baselessly smear President Trump. They are hauling in a relic from the past, John Dean, who has absolutely no connection to anything having to do with the Mueller investigation.

For those too young to remember, John Dean is a convicted felon who was disbarred for obstructing justice and defrauding the United States during Watergate.

The FBI found “The actions of John W. Dean at the White House … were purposefully designed to mislead and thwart the Bureau’s legitimate line of inquiry.”

Since Watergate, Dean has solidified himself as an unethical political opportunist who hasn’t met a recent Republican president who he didn’t want to impeach.

Yet, Democrats want him to testify before the House. For what reason? No one really knows.

And for those who need a reminder about what is in the $35 million, 448 page Mueller Report: The Special Counsel found no evidence of collusion between President Trump and Russia and the DOJ, based off the evidence compiled in the Mueller Report, found no evidence of obstruction.

Bottom line: Democrats are showing America where their priorities really are today. While there’s a crisis on the border and a historic trade deal waiting for Congressional approval, Democrats are bringing in John Dean, who had no relation to the Mueller Report, to testify in an effort to shamelessly – and baselessly --  attack President Trump. It makes you wonder why House Democrats wouldn’t just bring in fellow disgraced anti-Trump lawyer Michael Avenatti, who has just about the same relevance and credibility to the Mueller Report as Dean.
