As you’ve not doubt read or heard, there’s much talk lately about the possibility of a government shutdown if Congress doesn’t pass—or the president doesn’t sign—a continuing resolution to fund the government.
What you may not yet have heard is that only the Republican-led House has done its job, a bipartisan bill to fund the government passed last week.
Americans don’t want to see their government shut down, so the Senate must act.
The majority of Americans also agree that Obamacare has become a train wreck.. The recent polling shows that 55 percent of Americans disapprove of how the president is implementing the law…
Almost every day, the local news is filled with story after story of businesses that are struggling under Obamacare’s regulations…
In states across the country, health insurance premiums are on the rise…
Community colleges, hospitals, school districts and businesses have all begun transitioning many workers from full-time employment to part-time employment…
It’s no wonder that Obamacare is so unpopular and it’s astounding that Democrats refuse to listen to public outcries…
Senate Democrats dismissed the House plan to keep the government running because it doesn’t fund Obamacare. They’re saying to the country that they’d rather defund the government than defund Obamacare.
So if the government has to shut down, it will be Democrats’ doing.
Republicans have chosen to stand on the side of the American people…
Time is running out, but it’s not too late for Democrats to change course and join Republicans in doing what’s best for the country.
The Senate must act.
