CHAIRWOMAN MCDANIEL: “I do think we need transparency from the governor. We are only asking the governor to follow her own standard. We need to know what happened with nursing homes, we need to know if she put infected patients in nursing homes that caused more deaths. That’s what happened in New York. Governor Cuomo covered it up and it certainly appears as if Governor Whitmer is involved in a cover up with paying off workers, with big payouts, and non-disclosures and not being transparent with the Michigan people. It’s concerning.”
BOTTOM LINE: Gretchen Whitmer had deadly nursing home policies during the COVID-19 pandemic and refuses to be transparent with what really happened. Thousands of Michiganders are grieving and they deserve answers from their so-called leaders.
