ICYMI: Joe Donnelly’s Trump-Pence Hypocrisy

Michael Joyce - February 20, 2018

Less than a week after claiming to support President Trump, Joe Donnelly attacked Vice President Pence in a fundraising e-mail to his liberal donors. This is just the latest example of Donnelly’s hypocritical views of the current Administration. In August of last year, Donnelly claimed Trump supporters as his own, and then in September told David Axelrod that those same voters are “not who America is.” Does he really think voters in Indiana are too stupid to notice this?

“Shame on Senator Donnelly for using a fundraising e-mail to attack a fellow Hoosier in Vice President Pence. It’s no secret that Senator Donnelly has opposed every major legislative priority of the Trump-Pence agenda, and this anti-Pence rhetoric certainly won’t help the do-nothing Senator win reelection in a state President Trump and Vice President Pence won by 19 points in 2016.” –RNC Spokesperson Michael Joyce
