Apparently, Jon Tester thinks Montanans aren’t paying attention. When Tester offered up an amendment to the huge Democrat spending bill to authorize use of the Keystone XL pipeline, he voted in support. However, when Senator Daines led a similar effort that would require legislation to authorize the Keystone XL pipeline to be included in the final spending package, every Senate Democrat, including Tester, voted against it.

Why did two Senate Democrats support Tester’s amendment for the Keystone XL pipeline, only to turn around and oppose Daines’ nearly identical efforts? Because Senate Democrats knew Tester’s amendment would never see the light of day. Jon Tester has failed his state by not supporting Montana jobs and workers for Big Sky Country during a pandemic.
BOTTOM LINE: Jon Tester wants Montanans to believe that he supports the Keystone XL pipeline, but in reality he’s just one more harmful vote for Joe Biden and Chuck Schumer’s radical energy agenda.
