ICYMI: U.S. Economy Continues to Thrive Under President Trump

Christiana Purves - September 6, 2019

Hey there –

The Bureau of Labor Statistics is out with the August economic numbers and the economy continues to soar under President Trump’s leadership! In August, 130,000 jobs were added, and wages grew 3.2%. This is the 13th month in a row of 3% wage growth or higher. It is clear that President Trump is continuing to deliver on his promises to build and maintain a robust economy for all Americans.

Additionally, the Wall Street Journal released a report yesterday on the abundance of hiring increases for small businesses in August. The WSJ cited a National Federation of Independent Business survey which showed both hiring and employee compensation are on the rise. Small businesses are thriving and exceeding expectations thanks to President Trump’s policies.

As Trump Victory traveled across the country for the 'Open for Business' tour, small business owners in Pennsylvania attested to the work that President Trump has done for our economy. While 2020 Democrats hope for a recession, the most recent economic news proves “ that a recession is still nowhere in sight.”
