It’s no secret that Indiana is a manufacturing juggernaut, and companies large and small continue to thrive in Indiana. Whether you look at Honda’s $32.5 million investment into their Greensburg facility, Lindal’s new $20 million facility in Columbus, or the 10,000 new manufacturing jobs in Elkhart over the past two years alone, good paying jobs, new investments, and higher wages continue to come to Hoosiers in President Trump’s economy.
While Mike Braun has been a job creator right here in Indiana, we all know where the Donnelly family business created jobs: Mexico. Is Senator Donnelly’s family company paying decent wages at their factory in Guadalajara? Nobody knows. What we do know is that the bare bones minimum wage in Mexico is currently $4.70, per day.
“Senator Donnelly needs to disclose what his family business is paying Mexican workers at their factory in Guadalajara, Mexico if he wants Hoosiers to take him seriously when discussing economic issues that are important to Indiana. As we head towards November, Hoosiers will have to decide if they want to elect someone like Mike Braun who only employs American workers right here in Indiana, or a hypocrite like Donnelly who kept tens of thousands of dollars in dividends from outsourced labor in Mexico while speaking out against the practice.” –RNC Spokesperson Michael Joyce
