Carolyn McLarty, DVM was first elected as the National Committeewoman from Oklahoma in May of 2008. She has served on the RNC Resolutions Committee and is now Chairman of the RNC Resolutions Committee. She has served as the Chairman of the Conservative Steering Committee and as a founding member of the Republican National Conservative Caucus. She has also attended five Republican National Conventions.
Currently, Dr. McLarty is the Vice President of the Woodward County Republican Women and has served this group in many capacities. She is a member of many organizations including the Oklahoma First Ladies, the Oklahoma Eagle Forum, the National Rifle Association, the Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women, the Mutual Christian Church, and the Woodward Chamber of Commerce. McLarty is currently serving as Parliamentarian for the Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women.
Previously, Dr. McLarty served as the Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women Chaplain and the Co-Coordinator of the National Day of Prayer in Woodward. She was a Speaker of the Oklahoma House Appointee on the Oklahoma Commission on the Status of Women and was also appointed to the Oklahoma Educational Television Authority. McLarty served as the Alternate District Director and President for the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association’s Northwest District, and was a member of the Admissions Committee for Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
