meet the managers

Steve Guest - January 15, 2020

Now that Nancy Pelosi has finished her 28-day delay, her selection of impeachment managers only serves to underscore how partisan and hypocritical impeachment has always been for Democrats.

Since the start of their impeachment sham, Democrats have relied on Adam Schiff who began this entire impeachment charade by lying about his contact with the whistleblower and by lying about what President Trump said on the phone call with Ukraine’s president.

Reminder: Schiff was even willing to go as far as to beg Russian comedians who were posing as fake Ukrainian politicians to send him nude photos of President Trump.

Jerry Nadler’s presence as a manager underscores how Democrats have failed to live up to their own standards throughout the process.

Nadler is the same person who blasted impeachment in 1998 arguing, “There must never be a narrowly-voted impeachment or an impeachment substantially supported by one of our major political parties and largely opposed by the other. Such an impeachment would lack legitimacy.”

While Zoe Lofgren’s presence as an impeachment manager is yet another reminder that Democrats like herself and Nadler have been all consumed by impeachment for years.

As The New York Times laid out, both Nadler and Lofgren positioned themselves to be chair of the House Judiciary Committee because they both thought they were best suited to lead on impeachment years before the Ukraine call even occurred.

The New York Times

Reminder: 1998, Zoe Lofgren was critical of impeachment, complaining that impeachment would “undo the free election that expressed the will of the American people.”

Despite being called out for her hypocrisy on impeachment, Lofgren is now one of the faces of an impeachment intended to nullify the will of the American people.

Watch: Stephanopoulos calls out Dem Rep. for hypocrisy, past statements on "partisan use of impeachment”

Not to be left out, Val Demings has been pushing for impeachment since at least December 2018, and Hakeem Jeffries, Jason Crow and Sylvia Garcia began pushing for impeachment since before the Ukraine call was public.

Stop The Madness.
