Good news continues to pour into Arizona by way of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. The National Association of Manufacturers released new survey results showing that 72% of manufacturers are increasing wages or benefits, 77% are hiring more workers and 86% are investing in new equipment and facilities.
With all the benefits rolling in thanks to the historic tax relief, Arizona Democrats like Kyrsten Sinema and Tom O’Halleran continue to stand with Nancy Pelosi and oppose bigger paychecks, bonuses, additional benefits, and more jobs for Arizonans.
Playing the part of Nancy Pelosi’s puppets, Kyrsten Sinema claimed that Congress had failed to help hard-working Arizonans and Tom O’Halleran said the bill would hurt middle-class families. But with manufacturers helping drive Arizona’s economy, with over 159,000 manufacturing employees in the state and small businesses making up 88% of manufacturing exporters, it looks like Sinema and O’Halleran are the ones who are failing Arizona families.
“Kyrsten Sinema and Tom O’Halleran are going to have a hard time continuing to deceive Arizonans about their efforts to block President Trump’s tax cuts. Manufacturers in Arizona and all over the nation are seeing its benefits. This survey of manufacturers shows that Sinema and O’Halleran made a poor choice in siding with Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi over Arizonans and the increased wages, new jobs, and new investments all from the tax cuts.” – RNC Spokesperson Renae Eze
