On the CCP, patience is not a virtue

Tommy Pigott - January 26, 2021

Joe Biden has spent nearly 50 years in Washington, but apparently needs more time to figure out what his China strategy is.

During yesterday’s press briefing, Biden’s Press Secretary Jen Psaki called for “an approach of patience as it relates to our relationship with China.”

As the Chinese government rips off American workers and businesses with unfair trade practices, steals intellectual property, ramps up espionage operations, and commits grievous human rights violations, the Biden administration calls for “patience.”

During the campaign, Biden infamously claimed, “China’s not our problem.” He was wrong. Action is necessary to protect our economic and national security. When it comes to the Chinese Communist Party, patience is not a virtue.
