"As families gather around the Seder table this evening to begin commemorating the ancient story of their liberation, we wish our Jewish friends everywhere a happy Passover," said Chairwoman McDaniel. "Today, we are especially thankful for the spirit of rebirth and God’s grace in our lives. Although our current circumstances may change who we are able to celebrate with this year, we know nothing will change the ancient story of the Exodus and its triumph of freedom over oppression. May God continue to bless our relationship with Israel and look over our alliance for many years to come. To our Jewish friends near and far, Chag Pesach Sameach!"
