TODAY, PRESIDENT TRUMP WILL ATTEND A HISTORIC LAUNCH AT THE KENNEDY SPACE CENTER AS AMERICAN ASTRONAUTS WILL LAUNCH INTO SPACE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN NEARLY A DECADE
- This Wednesday, President Trump will be at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida to watch U.S. astronauts launch into space aboard an American rocket from American soil for the first time in a decade .
- Launch America , officially known as the SpaceX Crew Dragon Demo-2 mission, is planned to occur Wednesday afternoon, weather permitted.
- The NASA/SpaceX commercial crew flight will carry NASA's newest test pilots on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.
- This will be the " first-ever crewed commercial rocket launch ."
- NASA intends for the launch to kick off a new era of public-private exploration that will allow the United States to "accomplish great things in the final frontier."
