• Since taking office, President Trump has kept his promises and has delivered record-breaking results to all Americans:
• Voters have said that they felt forgotten before 2016, but since President Trump has been elected, they feel like they are thriving and will continue to do so for the next four years.
• Throughout his first three years, President Trump has delivered historic tax cuts, rolled back burdensome federal regulations, unleashed America’s energy sector, and has fought for free and fair trade.
• As a result of the President’s action, businesses large and small created nearly 7 million jobs, and unemployment rates for African Americans, Asian Americans, and Hispanic Americans hit their lowest level ever before the pandemic emerged.
• In a recent Gallup poll, the majority of Americans say they find themselves better off under President Trump than they were four years ago.
  • Americans also said they agreed with President Trump on issues that matter the most to them rather than Joe Biden.

PRESIDENT TRUMP CREATED A ROARING ECONOMY THAT PROVIDED OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL AMERICANS, AND WHEN THE PANDEMIC HIT, HE TOOK UNPRECEDENTED STEPS TO ENSURE THE ECONOMIC RECOVERY WOULD REACH EVERY AMERICAN

• Before the coronavirus pandemic, the U.S. had added more than 7 million new jobs since President Trump was elected.
  • The U.S. added 2.1 million jobs in 2019 alone, "more than enough to handily outpace population growth."
  • The average unemployment rate in 2019 was 3.7%, the lowest in 50 years.
• Due to President Trump’s efforts, America is poised to create another booming economy like he did before the coronavirus emerged.
  • Early on, President Trump took decisive action by providing relief to workers impacted by the coronavirus by signing the CARES Act.
    • The Trump Administration’s CARES Act created the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), which delivered more than $600 billion in funding to support small businesses and help keep Americans employed during the pandemic.
    • The PPP provided more than $521 billion in forgivable loans to more than 5 million businesses and has protected more than 51 million jobs.
    • The CARES act also provided economic assistance to 159 million Americans, totaling $265 billion.

  • President Trump's tax cut provided an increase of $6,000 in disposable income per household.
  • The tax bill delivered relief to hard-working Americans with the expansion of the child tax credit; "The child tax credit provides a credit of up to $2,000 per child under age 17."
  • The TCJA has been a win for small business owners as they have been able to deduct up to 20% of their qualified business income under the new tax code.
  • Small businesses have seen a huge success under President Trump's tax cut; at the end of 2019, the National Federation of Independent Businesses said that two-thirds of their members have seen their tax liability go down as a result of the law.
    • A Gallup survey found that 69% reported that their business has benefited from the 2017 law.
  • The TCJA also created the Opportunity Zones program, which has increased investments in low-income communities across the country.

  • President Trump has appointed second-most federal judges through June 1 of a President’s fourth year.
  • A President has not seen the rapid confirmation of this many judges since Jimmy Carter’s Presidency.

PRESIDENT TRUMP HAS TAKEN ACTION TO LOWER PRESCRIPTION DRUG COSTS AND ENSURE AMERICANS HAVE THE BEST HEALTH CARE

• Since elected, President Trump has made lowering drug costs a priority as Americans depend on the affordability and accessibility to life-saving medications.
• Prescription drugs saw their largest price decrease in over half a century in 2018.
  • Basic premiums for Medicare Part D prescription drug plans fell by 13.5% since 2017; the lower cost has saved beneficiaries $1.9 billion in premium costs.
  • Within the first 19 months as President, the Trump Administration approved generic drugs at historical rates, which resulted in patients saving $26 billion. 
  • President Trump has signed legislation ending "gag clauses" that prevented pharmacists from informing patients about the lowest prices for medications that Americans depend on.

  • The third order prohibits secret deals between drug manufacturers and pharmacy benefit manager middlemen and ensures patients are directly benefiting from available discounts at the pharmacy.
  • The final order ensures that the U.S. pays the lowest price available in economically comparable countries for Medicare Part B prescription drugs.
• President Trump has also worked with Congress to secure nearly $200 billion for struggling hospitals as part of the bipartisan CARES Act.
  • As part of the CARES Act, the Trump Administration established the Provider Relief Fund to distribute billions in emergency funding to hospitals and other health care providers.
  • Recognizing the urgent need for funding as hospitals took massive financial losses from the coronavirus and, the Trump Administration was able to quickly distribute an initial $30 billion of the $100 billion funds to provide immediate relief.

  • A conservative estimate shows that the shift to a Biden/Harris government-run health care option would “exacerbate the already significant financial risks rural hospitals face” and present “significant risks to rural hospitals and communities nationwide.”

• The Partnership for America’s Health Care Future said that the Biden/Harris proposal "would undermine the progress our nation has made and ultimately lead our nation down the path of a one-size-fits-all health care system run by Washington."
  • Another analysis found that payments of more than 1,500 hospitals found that if the hospitals used a government payment formulas for all patients over a three-year period, they would lose $7.7 billion in revenue, a decline of nearly 60%.
  • The transition away from private insurance would force hospitals to treat millions of new patients at government rates and “compound financial stresses” they are already facing.

AFTER YEARS OF BEING FORGOTTEN, PRESIDENT TRUMP HAS TAKEN ACTION TO FIGHT FOR THE RURAL AND AGRICULTURAL COMMUNITY

• President Trump has implemented policies and signed legislation that will benefit the rural and agricultural communities across the United States.
  • In 2017, President Trump established an Interagency Task Force on Agriculture and Rural Prosperity to identify legislative, regulatory, and policy changes that will benefit the rural and agriculture communities.
  • In 2018, in coordination with agriculture groups, and members of rural communities, President Trump signed the 2019 Farm Bill, which will be the primary agricultural and food policy tool of the federal government for five years.
    • The Farm bill will  protect crop insurance programs to producers who rely on government support in times of disasters, double the amount of money provided for loans to farmers, and expand broadband assistance.

• President Trump kept his campaign promise to replace the disastrous NAFTA trade agreement.
• President Trump's USMCA trade deal has the potential to add 588,000 jobs and grow U.S. GDP by $235 billion.
• The USMCA trade deal has been widely lauded as a victory and "clear win" for the Trump Administration.
• More than 600 coalitions and associations have endorsed the USMCA agreement and joined the USMCA Coalition, which urged Congress to support the deal.
• USMCA is projected to help major American industries:
  • USMCA has been projected to result in an increase of 28,000 jobs and $683 million in annual investment for the automotive industry and includes key provisions to strengthen U.S. manufacturing.
  • USMCA is expected to increase U.S. agricultural and food exports by $2.2 billion.
  • USMCA is expected to add $226.8 million in total dairy output, including $314.5 million of additional dairy exports above baseline.
  • U.S. poultry meat exports are expected to increase by nearly 50% to Canada by year six of the agreement.
  • The USMCA is expected to increase the value of U.S. E-commerce exports by $332 million.
  • USMCA will help small and medium-sized businesses by cutting tape and reducing costs for cross border transactions.

PRESIDENT TRUMP HAS EMPOWERED THE UNITED STATES ENERGY SECTOR AND HAS PROMOTED ENERGY INDEPENDENCE

• Due to President Trump's actions, "for the first time in nearly 70 years", the United States has now become the largest producer of oil and natural gas in the world, leading the nation towards energy independence.
  • President Trump has made it a priority to boost the energy sector and has unleashed our nation's energy potential since he has been in office.
  • The President has signed executive action to expand offshore oil and gas exploration areas and opened up ANWR in Alaska for energy exploration.
  • To ensure the United States remains one of the top producers in oil and natural gas, the Trump Administration announced that export authorizations for American liquefied natural gas will be extended through 2050. 
• The Trump Administration has continued to approve infrastructure and provide resources needed to support the energy sector.
  • Early in his Presidency, the Trump Administration approved the Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines,  which support an estimated total of 42,000 jobs and $2 billion in wages. 
  • The President approved the New Burgos Pipeline, a cross-border project capable of exporting 108,000 barrels a day of gasoline, diesel, and other petroleum products to Mexico.

• President Trump has signed three historic National Defense Authorization Acts (NDAA), which has boosted defense spending, providing one of the largest pay raises for our troops and establishing the United States Space Force to ensure American dominance in space. 
• The Trump Administration has taken the lead to ensure that our military has the appropriate equipment, tools, and resources needed for our armed services. 
  • The Trump Administration provided the largest amount of funding in more than 20 years for shipbuilding in an effort to grow and modernize the Navy’s fleet. 
  • In FY20 NDAA, the Trump Administration ensured that the U.S. must maintain a minimum of 11 aircraft carriers in order to “protect our interests around the world.” 
  • The President has also ensured that land equipment is fully funded and has put forth measures to support ground combat systems and armored multipurpose vehicles.  
• Since elected, President Trump has fulfilled his campaign promise to ensure that Veterans receive quality care by signing several pieces of legislation that will provide better quality, care, and improve problems at the Department of Veteran Affairs.
  • During the Obama/Biden Administration, the Department of Veteran Affairs “was embroiled in a scandal over massive wait times in its health care system.”
• President Trump has taken steps to ensure that these VA issues from the Obama/Biden Administration have been resolved by providing resources and securing  the largest funding for the Department of Veteran Affairs in history.
  • As a result of President Trump’s actions,  studies have found that wait times have become better or equal to the private sector, and VA patient satisfaction has continued to go up.
• President Trump has taken action to ensure that Veterans have access to mental health services and resources.
  • Chanin Nutavong, executive director of American Legion, the country’s largest veterans services group: “Other Administrations have focused on veteran suicide, but the Trump Administration’s is the largest push.”
  • The Trump Administration created a new White House VA Hotline, staffed by veterans and family members; the service conducts “immediate warm hand offs for at-crisis risk Veterans” who are needing the services of the Veteran Crisis Line.  
  • Through Executive Order, President Trump created the President’s Roadmap To Empower Veterans and End a National tragedy of Suicide (PREVENTS).
    • “The 10-point road map includes an interagency effort that brings in advocacy groups and nonprofits for a holistic approach, according to the plan, and also aims to promote community-based suicide prevention programs.”
  • President Trump has taken action to empower Veterans and end the national tragedy of Veteran suicide by providing a record $8.6 billion in funding for mental health services and $209 million in suicide prevention. 
  • Last week, President Trump continued his support by signing a suicide prevention bill, which will expand mental health care services at VA facilities and provide grants to make it easier for Veterans to access non-VA resources in their communities.
• The Trump Administration has acted to ensure that disabled Veterans receive student loan forgiveness.
  • In 2019, the President signed an Executive Action to eliminate 100% of student loan debt for permanently disabled veterans and called upon states to ensure that disabled veterans do not pay state tax on their forgiven debts. 
  • Forbes: President Trump’s action is “a positive step to help America’s heroes and families for their selfless service.
• President Trump has also taken action to ensure that Veterans have access to resources to prevent homelessness.
  • The funding will help thousands of low-income Veteran families have access to case management and other assistance to “rapidly re-house Veterans who become homeless or prevent Veterans from becoming homeless.”
  • As a result of these ongoing efforts, a report found that homeless Veterans in the U.S. is down to 37,000, a 50% decrease since 2010.

PRESIDENT TRUMP HAS TAKEN ACTION TO ELIMINATE DANGEROUS THREATS TO AMERICA WHILE OBTAINING HISTORIC PEACE AGREEMENTS IN THE MIDDLE EAST  

• Under President Trump's leadership, ISIS has been defeated, and its notorious leader and founder Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been eliminated.
  • On October 27, 2019, President Trump announced the United States had successfully eliminated Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, the notorious terrorist and rapist who led the terrorist group the Islamic State (ISIS), which had subjugated large portions of Iraq and Syria.
  • On March 23, 2019, President Trump announced the United States and its partners had officially liberated all ISIS-controlled territory.
• Due to President Trump’s leadership, the United States will pull out thousands of troops from Iraq and Afghanistan by November.
  • President Trump has been pushing for a reduction since 2016 and has fulfilled his promise by taking action to ensure the Iraqi Security Forces have the ability to operate independently.
  • Iraq, Marine Gen. Frank McKenzie, the Commander of U.S. Central Command, said that with the reduction, the U.S. will still be able to accomplish core tasks, and “we’ve shown more than ample goodwill and our willingness to demonstrate that we don’t want to be an occupying force in this country.”
  • The reduction is part of a long-planned consolidation which reflects the “success of the anti-ISIS fight.”
• Since elected, President Trump’s peacemaking efforts have achieved incredible results, including obtaining historic peace agreements between Arab countries and Israel.
  • Last month, President Trump signed historic peace agreements between Bahrain, Israel, and the United Arab Emirates.
  • The agreement is considered a “treaty of peace” and will carry the “most serious status, demanding the greatest commitment from both parties.”
    • The new deal will open a way for other potential agreements between Israel and the UAE and Bahrain “on matters such as investment, tourism, cultural exchanges and direct flights.”
    • Council on Foreign Relations President Richard Haass said that President Donald Trump’s diplomacy “changed the dynamics,” which led to the  peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.
    • The Washington Post’s David Ignatius: “Bahrain’s diplomatic agreement with Israel is a building block toward Middle East stability.”
  • In September, President Trump oversaw a historic breakthrough with Serbia and Kosovo as the two countries agreed to normalize relations.
    • The agreement shows a sign of much-needed progress between the two Balkan nations as the deal establishes a single market with Kosovo and provides an opportunity to boost both nations’ economies.
    • The deal is historic as Kosovo will be the first country with a Muslim majority to open an embassy in Jerusalem.       
  • President Trump has continued to take the lead in peace talks as he has signed a historic peace agreement with the Taliban in Afghanistan, which would end America’s longest war.
    • Earlier this year, President Trump signed a preliminary peace agreement with the Taliban, which sets the stage to end America’s longest war.
    • The deal has been called the "best chance to end this conflict," a " decisive move" towards peace, and "the best path" for the United States.
    • The war in Afghanistan is the longest in U.S. history, a conflict that has killed more than 3,500 U.S. and NATO troops and cost U.S. taxpayers nearly 900 billion dollars.

PRESIDENT TRUMP HAS KEPT HIS PROMISE TO KEEP AMERICANS SAFE BY SECURING OUR SOUTHERN BORDER, ENFORCING U.S. IMMIGRATION LAWS, AND COMBATING HUMAN TRAFFICKING

• President Trump has kept his campaign promise to secure our border, enforce U.S. immigration laws, and combat criminal activity.
• As of October 19, there have been 371 miles of border wall completed, with 450 miles expected to be completed by the end of this year.
  • The new border wall system will prevent "human smugglers, drug traffickers, and other criminals" from exploiting the lack of effective border infrastructure "to smuggle drugs, people and illegal contraband to our country."
• Over the last three years, ICE investigations have resulted in the arrest of nearly 12,000 gang members and included more than 1,600 MS-13 gang members due to President Trump's focus on stopping the spread of MS-13 and gang violence.
  • Since elected, President Trump has made it a priority to prevent illicit drugs from "poisoning our communities," and as a result, Customs and Border Patrol has seized 236,898 pounds of cocaine, 18,115 pounds of heroin, 1.2 million pounds of marijuana, 290,425 pounds of methamphetamine, and 9,167 pounds of fentanyl over the last three years.
