WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus and RNC Co-Chairman Sharon Day released the following statement and video commemorating Veterans Day:
“This Veterans Day, we honor all the brave men and women who risk their lives in defense of our freedom,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “We say thank you for their service and their sacrifice, recognizing that we owe them our deepest gratitude and respect.”
“Whether on the beaches of Normandy or in the streets of Kabul, the bravery of our veterans has ensured the blessings of liberty to our children and grandchildren. We must never forget that.”
“Today, let us renew our country’s commitment to our veterans – to those who returned home long ago and those who have yet to return,” said RNC Co-Chairman Sharon Day. “May God bless them and protect them this Veterans Day – and every day.”
