WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus and Co-Chairman Sharon Day released the following New Year’s message:
“Today the world welcomes 2012, and as we in America mark the beginning of a new year, we also enter an election year—undoubtedly one of the most consequential election years in recent history,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus.
“We look expectantly to the promise of 2012 because it offers our country a chance to change course. It offers us the opportunity to take a new direction toward economic growth and a renewal of the American Dream. In 10 short months, we will have the chance to elect a new president and undo the damage of the Obama Administration. With a Republican in the White House, we can build the true economic recovery that has been absent for three long years.”
“I am confident that 2012 will be remembered for the decision we make next November,” said RNC Co-Chairman Sharon Day. “And we invite all Americans that are hungry for a fresh start to join with the Republican National Committee in our efforts to address our country’s many challenges.
