WASHINGTON - Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus released the following Mother's Day message:
“Happy Mother’s Day to my mom and to my wife—and to all mothers. Today is about celebrating you and expressing our deepest gratitude for your immeasurable sacrifices and unconditional love. I am forever grateful for the selfless love of my mother and for the love and dedication my wonderful wife gives our young children.
“We ask so much of our mothers, and each mom faces her own set of challenges. Some are raising kids alone; others are balancing the demands of a full-time job at the office and the full-time job of motherhood. And some moms are serving their country overseas on this Mother’s Day. We’re also mindful of the mothers whose children are currently in the military, and especially those who have lost a child in the line of duty. We honor them all.
“To all the moms out there, this is your day. Enjoy it, and have a Happy Mother’s Day!”
