WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and Co-Chair Bob Paduchik released the following message celebrating Easter:
“This weekend, Christians around the world will gather with family to celebrate the resurrection of our savior, Jesus Christ, and the love His Father showed to us,” said Chairwoman McDaniel. “Let the hope of eternal life overshadow the fears we face, just as the joy of Easter overcomes the darkness of Good Friday. I wish a Happy Easter to all who are celebrating, and it is my prayer that you are surrounded by loved ones on this blessed day.”
“This holiday presents a time for us to remember the sacrifices Jesus made for our salvation,” said Co-Chair Paduchik. “It is also a time to rejoice and give thanks for the Resurrection, while proclaiming the good news: ‘Christ is Risen!’ May we never forget the charge Jesus gave us during His life here on Earth: love thy neighbors and offer forgiveness to all. We wish all who are celebrating a blessed Easter full of joy and spiritual fulfillment.”
