WASHINGTON – In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel today joined local members of the Hispanic community in Denver, CO to highlight the history of independence in Latin America. During an event hosted by the RNC, McDaniel met with Hispanic leaders and discussed the importance of continued engagement between the RNC and local communities through the Republican Leadership Initiative (RLI).
“Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to celebrate and honor the vast achievements of Hispanics and recognize the positive influence they’ve had on our nation as we celebrate their accomplishments this month and always,” said Chairwoman McDaniel. "Their culture and traditions are part of the very fabric that makes our country so exceptional and the RNC recognizes their many contributions. That’s why we are committed to creating long-lasting partnerships with them through programs like the Republican Leadership Initiative to help train the future leaders of our country.”
RLI trains our volunteers to be the next leaders in their communities. The program is an intensive training course designed to bring RNC volunteers and activists to the next level by recruiting and training Republican field operatives.
Last week, the RNC released a video featuring Hispanic employees discussing the importance of their culture.
