WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and Co-Chair Bob Paduchik released the following statement celebrating the first day of Passover:
“From everyone at the RNC, we wish our friends in the Jewish community a blessed first night of Passover,” said Chairwoman McDaniel. “For those gathering around the table to celebrate this evening, we pray your hearts are renewed in the true spirit of this season of rebirth. As we commemorate the deliverance of the people of Israel, we continue to pray for peace and freedom for our allies in Israel and around the world. Our Party remains committed to supporting our partners in freedom and democracy in the Middle East.”
“Chag Sameach and Happy Passover,” said Co-Chair Paduchik. “As the sun sets this evening, we celebrate the hope that this holiday represents for so many in the Jewish community. The message of perseverance in the face of trials rings as true today as it did when the Israelites left Egypt thousands of years ago. May God’s beneficence manifest itself for all as a reminder of the grace and mercy he has for all his people.”
