RNC Hosts "Blackboard to Blacktop” Training Workshop in Lincoln, Nebraska

WASHINGTON – Today, the Republican National Committee (RNC) will host a “Blackboard to Blacktop” educational training workshop for women in Lincoln, Nebraska. The event will include sessions on improving grassroots operations, communications, fundraising efforts, networking and social media.

“I am excited to bring ‘Blackboard to Blacktop' training to Lincoln, Nebraska to encourage and empower more women to get involved in Republican politics,” said RNC Co-Chair Sharon Day. “My goal is to have more females get involved in Republican politics, and I hope that these workshops will continue to empower women with the political tools needed to succeed.”
 
This workshop follows a successful series of workshops in held in cities across the country in 2013. Previous sessions were held in Atlanta, Providence, Chicago, Orlando, Denver, Seattle and Philadelphia.
