WASHINGTON – Starting today, the Republican National Committee (RNC) is giving Americans who have been hurt by ObamaCare the chance to share their stories. By visiting gop.com/TellUs, families can tell their stories of lost benefits, cut hours, higher premiums, or website glitches. They can also upload photos that capture the impact of ObamaCare: a letter canceling insurance coverage, a pink slip from an employer, a screenshot of a website malfunction. Stories will be regularly featured on the RNC’s ObamaCosts.org website.
“President Obama knowingly lied to Americans when he said, ‘If you like your health plan, you will be able to keep your health plan,’” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “Millions of Americans have lost or will lose their health plans. Their stories need to be heard, and so do the stories of families who have been affected by layoffs, reduced hours, and the disastrous healthcare.gov website.
“ObamaCare has been devastating for our economy and for the health care of millions. Democrats aren’t willing to listen to the families who have been blindsided by the impact of this law, but Republicans are listening. And we will make sure the country hears their stories.”
