WASHINGTON -- Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus and Co-Chair Sharon Day released the following statement ahead of the beginning of Rosh Hashanah:
“We wish ‘Shanah Tovah' to all of our Jewish friends celebrating the start of a new and promising year,” said Chairman Priebus. "While members of the Jewish community around the world open their prayer-books and look toward the future during this High Holy Day, we can all take an extra moment to reflect on our responsibility to our communities, our country, and our world. It is a reminder for all of us that each day is a new opportunity to live up to our God-given capacity for doing good."
