RNC Raises $8.2 Million in May

- June 20, 2014

$123.4 Million Raised For Cycle

WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus today announced that the RNC raised $8.2 million in May. The RNC has raised $123.4 million for the 2014 cycle thus far and has $13.5 million cash on hand.

“Strong fundraising, a winning message, and an unpopular president are the key ingredients for victory in November,” said Chairman Priebus. “With another successful month of RNC fundraising, the American people’s support for Republican policies, and the president’s plummeting poll numbers, the momentum is clearly on the Republican side.

“I want to extend my thanks to all of our investors and supporters who continue to power our year-round Victory 365 ground game and have allowed us to make unprecedented investments in data, digital, and technology. Because they put their trust in the RNC, we’re able to take our message to more communities and reach more voters than ever before.

“As I’ve said many times, these investments are not about just one election. We’re working with our candidates and campaigns to give them the tools to win in 2014, but we’re also keeping an eye to the future so that we have the foundation to win in 2016 and beyond.”
