WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and Co-Chair Bob Paduchik released the following message on the beginning of Ramadan:
"Today we send our most sincere wishes to all those commemorating Ramadan," said Chairwoman McDaniel. "This holy month marks a time of renewed emphasis on prayer and serving the less fortunate among us. As those in Muslim-American communities begin this time of fasting and reflecting, may all of us join in remembering the blessings bestowed upon our nation."
"As members of the Muslim community strive to grow in their faith, our hope is for people of all beliefs to be moved to embrace this time of spiritual reflection and encouragement," said Co-Chair Paduchik. "We wish all Muslim-Americans celebrating across our nation a truly blessed month."
