RNC Releases Web Video: "Grassroots Momentum"

- October 16, 2012

WASHINGTON - The Republican National Committee is out with a new video "Grassroots Momentum" showcasing the growing momentum for the Romney-Ryan ticket. With three weeks to go until Election Day, the polls are tightening, the crowds are expanding, and volunteers are filling Republican Victory offices across America. Thanks to the over 100,000+ hard working volunteers, the Romney Victory effort has made over 40 million voter contacts including 7.5 million door knocks. Compared to this time in 2008, our volunteers have made over 3.5 times as many phone calls and knocked on 13 times as many doors. It's clear the energy is on the Republican side with 21 days to go.

"The momentum is building for the Romney-Ryan ticket going into Election Day," said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. "The Romney-Ryan plan to create 12 million new jobs to help the middle class is resonating in battleground states across the country as crowds swell, the polls tighten, and volunteers flood into GOP Victory offices.

"As a result, our volunteers have made a record number of voter contacts. Just this weekend, we crossed the 40 millionth voter contact this cycle--the largest we've ever seen. Thanks to the hard working volunteers all across America, our ground game is second to none and will carry Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan to victory."
