WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus and Co-Chairman Sharon Day released the following statement marking the beginning of Asian Pacific American (APA) Heritage Month:
“Throughout APA Heritage Month, we honor the Americans of East Asian, South Asian, Southeast Asian and Pacific Islander descent who have contributed to the prosperity of our country and the strength of our Party,” said Chairman Priebus. “APA Heritage Month continues to be a reminder of the diversity of our nation and the sacrifices Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders have made to ensure our country continues to grow. As the election cycle continues, I am excited to see more Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders support our Party and make a lasting impact in our communities across the country.”
