WASHINGTON – Today, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus announced the RNC raised $8 million in June 2013, bringing the committee’s cash on hand total to $12.74 million.
Strong support from donors at all levels has empowered the RNC to continue implementing its vision, based on recommendations of the Growth and Opportunity Project, of building an unprecedented, top notch field operation and investing in every community year-round.
"Our vision of building a permanent campaign across the country is becoming a reality, but it wouldn’t be possible without our donors’ tremendous support,” said Chairman Priebus. “As we build relationships with voters and establish a year-round field operation of hundreds of staff, we will spend every dollar wisely and invest in only the smartest strategies to reach voters in every community.
“This month, I was proud to announce new state-level hires for engaging with the Asian and Pacific Islander, African American, and Hispanic communities; and Republicans’ investment in the RNC will enable us to make many more announcements in the weeks and months ahead. Working together, I am confident we can earn voters’ trust and ensure Republican victories across the board in 2014, 2016 and beyond.”
