WASHINGTON — Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement on the 17th anniversary of 9/11:
"Today we solemnly remember the innocent lives lost on one of the darkest days in our nation’s history," said Chairwoman McDaniel. "In the face of terror and tragedy the American spirit prevailed, but we will never forget that day. As we commemorate our fallen heroes and honor our first responders, we thank our courageous servicemen and women who continue to fight extremism and defend our freedoms."
