WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement celebrating the 75th anniversary of Guam’s liberation:
“Happy 75th Liberation Day to the people of Guam. On behalf of everyone at the Republican National Committee, we wish the people of Guam a great celebration today as they enjoy spending time with family and friends,” said Chairwoman McDaniel. “While it is a milestone day of celebration, it is also a day of remembrance of the pain and suffering endured by Chamoru men and women. Today, we pay tribute to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice and offer our gratitude to those in our armed services who continue to fight for the freedom and protection of all American citizens and residents."
