RNC Statement on the State of the Union

- February 5, 2019

WASHINGTON — Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel issued the following statement about President Trump’s State of the Union address:

"Tonight, President Trump shared with the nation an inspiring vision of a prosperous America," said Chairwoman McDaniel. "His first two years in office delivered historic results to the American people, including nearly 5 million new jobs, a once-in-a-generation tax cut, and an overhaul of the criminal justice system. As President Trump continues to honor his promises and fights to keep America safe, Congress must join him in choosing greatness for our country. In the years ahead, Democrats and Republicans should unite behind President Trump’s vision to lift up all Americans and create a stronger America."
